New to Grandview?


You're probably wondering what it's really like at Grandview Church of God. We'll tell you. Here we are all about Jesus and all about becoming more like Jesus.


That means we are not perfect either. But we are committed to loving you just as you are and have created an environment where everyone is welcomed.



What that also means is that here at Grandview, you won't be met with any judgement or shame. We don't care how you come dressed or what you've done in the past. We all have our stories.


We just want to walk with you on your journey in faith.


We want to make it easy for you


We understand that going to a new church can sometimes be nerve-wracking. You might not know anyone or even where you can sit.


We want to make it easy for you so that your first experience at Grandview is a great one!



Our welcome team's goal is to make everyone feel like they already have a friend at Grandview. They'll show you where our bathrooms are and present you with a welcome gift from us at Grandview to show you how much we appreciate you coming.

What can I expect?


SERVICE TIME


Grandview Church of God meets every Sunday at 10:30am. Our location is at the corner of

Fallowfield Ave & Crosby Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.


When you see our banners, drive down the driveway and choose

the parking spot in front  marked guest parking .




WHAT'S A SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?


Service begins with a welcome and a couple announcements, prayer, and then our worship team leads us in worship with a few songs.


Lyrics will be projected onto the screen and

we welcome you to worship with us however you are comfortable.


After worship, a short sermon will be presented from the Bible about Jesus

by Pastor Ken, or by one of our other pastors.


When the message concludes, we will sing one more song and dismiss.

 

In total, our Sunday services typically last around 90 minutes from start to finish.





Have more questions?

  • Do you care if I have tattoos?

    Absolutely not! Jesus wouldn't turn you away so we won't either, everyone's welcome.

  • What should I wear?

    We don't care what you wear! We just want you here. But if you need specifics, you can come

     dressed in a casual outfit. T-shirts and jeans are perfectly fine.

  • I'm not sure what I believe

    You'll come to find that, for many of our members, it wasn't a 'one and done' situation when it came to their faith in Jesus. Everyone is on their journey at their own pace but we hope to be able to walk with you through that journey.

  • Do I have to become a member?

    While we would love for you to become a member of Grandview, we do not force or push you to become one. You can take those next steps on your time.
